Parent Fundraising
Our fundraising goal is $100,000 per year to support our program and ensure its continued success. Your generous contributions will help us cover essential costs and provide valuable services to our community. Together, we can reach this goal and make a lasting.
While there are no registration fees to join, we rely on parents to fundraise and volunteer to meet the program's annual cost of $100,000 not funded by the Department of Notional Defense.

We need all parents to actively participate.

Thank you for your support!

-
Top selling Cadet gets a $25 gift card!
-
How it Works:

-
Each voucher can be redeemed by you for one 12” hanging basket at Creekside Home & Garden between May 5th and June 10th.
Voluntary Financial
Contribution
-
We understand that not everyone has the time to volunteer. If you are unable to commit your time and talent, serious consideration should be given to a financial commitment.
-
Currently, our cost is $100,000 per year. Given our current enrollment, this works out to be $500 per cadet we need to fundraise for.
-
Use our donation page to make your financial contribution today!
Targeted Bottle Drives
-
We host 3-4 bottle drives per year. Usually in September, January, and June. Dates are posted to our homepage and communicated via social media and email.
-
Next Date: TBC.
-
Feel free to ask your friends, families, and close neighbors if they have some bottles they would like to donate to 810 Air. No need to ask your whole street, just your closest neighbors you are comfortable asking. We keep it simple. On the day of the bottle drive, simply bring your bottles to training night.
Employer Sponsored Giving
-
We recognize many of our parents and guardians work for employers who have volunteer and donation matching programs to support community organizations – organizations just like 810 Air.
-
If your employer has a program in place, please consider selecting 810 Air as a recipient for your donation.
-
Our legal name is “Guardians of 810 Air Cadet Squadron Society”.
-
We are an approved recipient for Benevity.
-
If your employer has a similar volunteer/ donation program and would like to explore adding 810 Air, please contact the 810 SSC Chair to discuss further.
Casino
-
As part of Charitable Gaming sanctioned by Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commissioning (AGLC), 810 Air has been granted the opportunity to volunteer at a casino in Edmonton. AGLC provides organizations with a 2-day session at a local casino where volunteers are required to help facilitate the operations. Each organization is provided with a casino every 18-24 months which provides significant fundraising for the organization.
-
Our next casino dates are expected to be in November 2025.
Cash Calendar Sales
-
Sales are now closed and will resume again next Cadet Year.
-
Each year, we participate in the Alberta Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet League of Canada Cash Calendar Campaign.
