Casino

The casino fundraising event is critical to the operations of 810 Air Cadets. We use the funds raised to pay for our rent at Allendale School, purchase items required to teach our air cadets, and other required operational expenses.

Without the casino funds, our air cadet program would not be able to operate. This is why we need our parents and guardians to fill these essential volunteer roles.

Currently, we require all parents and guardians to commit to volunteering at our fundraising events. The casino is held every 2 years.

Thank you to our casino volunteers who participated in our November 1-2, 2023 casino fundraiser.

Our next casino fundraising event will be held in October/ November/ or December of 2025.

Additional Helpful Casino Information

Each volunteer is an integral member of a Licensed Casino Event. Volunteers must attend when scheduled as the Casino may not be permitted to operate if volunteer(s) are late or missing, which affects our revenue, the casino employees, and the Casino Facility operator. Though your attendance is essential, you need not worry about the performance of your duties. Our experienced Casino Advisors will fully train you and within minutes you will be a confident, valuable participant in the Licensed Casino Event.

Volunteer Attributes and Conduct

Volunteers MUST:

  • arrive on time for shift;
  • sign in at the start of shift and out at the end of shift;
  • work the position specified on the Casino Volunteer Schedule; and
  • wear a name tag while on duty showing the first or common name and position.

Volunteers MUST NOT:

  • be paid;
  • play casino games or gaming terminals during their group’s casino event;
  • consume liquor or illicit substances during their group’s casino event;
  • cash cheques or extend credit; or
